This Day in History - Paul Newman Stars in "Winning"

On this day in history, actor Paul Newman starred as Frank Capua, a struggling race car driver who must turn around his fortunes by winning the biggest race of them all--the Indianapolis 500--and avoid losing his wife to his rival Luther Erding, played by Robert Wagner.

Me either. Though I knew he raced, I'm not really familiar with all his movies.

Another bit of history for today, Dean Butler, who played Almanzo Wilder on Little House on the Prairie, began filming today in 1979.

Thanks for stopping by.
